Erika Almeida-Trujillo brings over 20 years of healthcare experience to Greenwood Ear Nose & Throat Specialists, PC, with a strong clinical foundation in emergency medicine, trauma care, and specialty practice leadership. Her career began as the first Nurse Practitioner hired in an Emergency Department, where she delivered high-quality acute care while demonstrating strong clinical judgment and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
She later transitioned to trauma services, contributing to program development and consistently earning top-tier performance evaluations for clinical excellence, reliability, and patient outcomes.
Erika was personally entrusted with the continuation of a long-standing ENT practice in Pueblo following the retirement of a respected local otolaryngologist. She completed a dedicated fellowship to ensure seamless continuity of care for patients and the community.
Today, Erika is the owner and lead provider of Colorado’s only Nurse Practitioner-owned ENT specialty practice. She is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered ear, nose, and throat care rooted in listening, education, and trust. Her approach emphasizes clear communication, thoughtful evaluation, and individualized treatment, ensuring patients feel confident, supported, and genuinely cared for.

Annette has over 25 years of healthcare experience and has been with Greenwood Ear Nose & Throat Specialists, PC since its opening, working closely with Erika from the very beginning. She is a Pueblo native, born and raised, and brings deep community roots and dedication to supporting both patients and staff with compassion and professionalism

Chantell has been a Medical Assistant since 2024 and brings a strong background in patient interaction and support. She also has experience in sleep medicine dating back to 2017, allowing her to provide knowledgeable, compassionate care while helping patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.
Sydonia has been part of the Greenwood Ear Nose & Throat Specialists, PC team for about four months and loves everything about working with clients. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming, positive experience for patients from the moment they walk through the door.

Winnie is our four-legged patient greeter and brings smiles to everyone she meets. She loves welcoming patients, spreading comfort, and making visits a little brighter with her friendly presence.
